I am taking on Kidney Care UK's October Dog Walk
This year, I’m stepping up for the October Dog Walking Challenge in support of Kidney Care UK, the leading patient support charity for people living with kidney disease. Millions of people in the UK are affected, and too many face the journey alone. Kidney Care UK is there to make sure they don’t have to.
I’m walking 32.5 miles with my dog to help raise funds for vital services, from counselling and patient grants to expert advice and advocacy. Your donation will help ensure no one has to face kidney disease without support.

Wednesday 16th Sep I’m doing this because my wife has pretty much her whole life been affected with kidney disease and has had been a lucky recipient of two donors since her teens and more notably her last was kindly donated by her brother 25 years ago. Nothing is an issue for her and carries on regardless. I wanted to do something within my capability and we now have a new family member Ivy who needs her exercise much like me and mental stimulation also so this is perfect. Many people don’t have the support they need with their illness so doing this helps others who need that little bit of support in many ways. So I will be upping my game to 101 miles over October to help out somehow and as a little thank you to those who dedicate help. Thanks and peace and love ShareThank you to my donors
